Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join Decentraland's Data Analytics team as a vital member focusing on enhancing data-driven decisions for product and content teams. You will be responsible for data transformation, modeling, quality assurance, and advanced analytics. The role requires proven experience in data analytics, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with tools like Snowflake and dbt. Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or similar
• Solid understanding of ETL & ELT principles and best practices
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with tools like Snowflake, dbt, Metabase or similar tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• 2+ years as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst or similar roles, with a proven record of delivering successful, user-centric data solutions

Responsibilities

• Use DBT to transform, clean, and model raw data into structured datasets that can be readily used for analysis and reporting
• Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to establish and enforce data governance best practices
• Design and Define metrics and KPIs for new products or features side by side with our product team and stakeholders
• Be an Strategic thinker and find opportunities of improvement based on data
• Do advanced analytics and shape data products to empower our users experiences
• Develop Data solutions with high end technologies based on behavioral analytics
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and Business Analysts to determine business data reporting and analysis requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Web3 and Crypto universe knowledge
• E-commerce or gaming industry experience
