Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join OGC, a boutique research and consulting agency, as a full-time Senior Data Analyst. You will be embedded in the Customer Experience team at Salesforce, supporting data query requests from various business unit leaders. Responsibilities include crafting and executing SQL queries, analyzing large datasets, building data workflows and reports, and translating raw data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage Salesforce-native tools. This is a remote role with a US-based client, following US holidays.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer or Information Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field
• 3-5 years proven experience writing advanced SQL scripts (stored procedures, joins, functions, views, etc.)
• Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets, and to distill insights for business use
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional documentation skills and practices

Responsibilities

• Communicating with different business stakeholders to collect requirements
• Crafting and executing SQL queries based on business requirements
• Query and analyze large datasets from multiple internal sources to understand customer sentiment, behaviors, and trends
• Build repeatable data workflows and reporting processes to support CX initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams to validate data sources and business logic
• Translate raw data into clear insights and recommendations for the Customer Experience team and broader stakeholders
• Build ad-hoc reports, dashboards and data visualizations to track key metrics
• Collaborate with the CX team and Salesforce platform owners to define how customer feedback is captured, stored, and routed
• Learn to leverage Salesforce-native tools (Reports & Dashboards, Flows, Automation) to deliver insights and improve CX visibility

Preferred Qualifications

• MA/MSc –An advantage
• Comfortable with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel)- strong advantage
• Experience with any of the following platforms – An advantage: SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
• Experience in implementing operational automation scripts – An advantage
• CX experience – An advantage
• Salesforce experience - An advantage
