Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join our Business Intelligence team as a Sr. Data Analyst to lead the Distribution Domain in our company-wide data strategy. You will create actionable insights informing distribution efforts, from deal activity to investor engagement. As the frontline data partner for Growth, Delivery, and Product teams, you will design and implement dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses. Collaborate with the Data Engineer and Data Governance Lead to ensure high-quality data pipelines and adherence to governance standards. Perform exploratory and hypothesis-driven analysis to identify trends and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations. Maintain documentation for data products and support the development of internal data literacy around distribution KPIs and metrics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or BI role, preferably in a B2B SaaS, fintech, or investment-focused environment
• Advanced SQL skills; proficiency in data modeling and wrangling
• Experience building dashboards and reports with modern BI tools (SIGMA computing)
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate vague questions into clear data problems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with data quality, governance, and operational data workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead the Distribution Data Domain: Take ownership of the data layer that powers distribution performance tracking, investor insights, outreach efficiency, and network dynamics
• Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and visual reports using tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Looker to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for all distribution-related data requests. Collect, clarify, and refine business requirements from cross-functional teams
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with the Data Engineer to ensure clean, reliable data models and with the Data Governance Lead to ensure compliance with data standards and definitions
• Insight Generation & Communication: Perform exploratory and hypothesis-driven analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain documentation for data products and support the development of internal data literacy around distribution KPIs and metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for analysis, preferably using Google Collab or Jupyter Notebook
• You have experience working with investor networks, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), or deal lifecycle data
