Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join Presence, a leading provider of teletherapy solutions, as a Senior Data Analyst and leverage data to drive change in the education industry. You will define core business metrics, create visualizations, and perform deep-dive analyses to shape the company's data culture. This role requires proven data analysis experience, advanced skills in data visualization and SQL, and strong communication abilities. The position is remote, based in the US, with a preferred time zone of ET or CST. Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a data analyst
• Advanced expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), Looker, or Power BI
• Proficient (4+ years) in SQL and familiar with data transformation tools such as dbt and Airflow
• Strong ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and present findings clearly to key stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and framing unstructured problems into analyzable components
• Highly organized and results-driven
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders across the company to define and track KPIs, developing dashboards in Tableau that report on, and reflect, the health of the business
• Partner with data engineering to build your knowledge of Presence data sources, and improve the quality of data and data processes
• Write SQL to extract data from our Amazon data warehouse and define the business logic that powers our understanding of Presence business performance
• Work with engineering to build and enhance AI models with proprietary data
• Lead projects with internal teams (such as Operations, Sales, Commercial and Finance) to identify and analyze key trends in the business
• Perform in-depth, insightful analyses utilizing advanced Excel functions
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting language (R/Python) a plus
• Passion for helping schools and students with special needs
• Strong self-motivation/entrepreneurial mindset, dedicated to growing services and client base
• Flexibility and adaptability - ability to quickly adjust to changing conditions and maintain a high-performance standard
• Great collaborative and independent problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of the clients health, account growth and conversations
• Ability to work well with other team members in high-pressure situations with grace, optimism, and a sense of humor
