Join Samsara's Deal Desk Strategy and Programs team as a Senior Data and Automation Analyst to lead data initiatives, provide actionable insights, and develop scalable solutions. You will own KPI reporting, predictive modeling, and workflow automation to optimize Deal Desk capacity and collaborate with business partners. This high-impact role allows you to shape data processes and empower the team with tools and insights for long-term success. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and automation solutions. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Prior experience designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline processes
- Ability to distill critical insights from complex and unstructured data, and deliver concise, impactful insights to stakeholders
- Track record of managing priorities and producing deliverables on-time with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and real-time reporting tools
- Automate Deal Desk workflows and build tools to enhance team productivity
- Analyze deal trends, identify success factors, and provide data-based insights to drive deal decisioning
- Develop predictive models to forecast deal outcomes and assess risk
- Define data governance strategies for pricing and deal data
- Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Business Technology teams to align on data and automation priorities
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Databricks
- Experience with Python or other programming languages for analytics
