Summary

Join HSO as a Data & Analytics Consultant and work closely with clients to develop innovative data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI and other technologies. This role involves planning and managing BI rollouts, supporting clients on Power BI projects, and developing automated ETL processes, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A completed study in a MINT field or an equivalent vocational training with relevant experience (cross-industry professionals with relevant experience welcome)
  • Multiple years of experience in the Data Analytics and Reporting field using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query M, and a general understanding of data models and databases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (at least B2 level) to advise and train customers

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the complete BI rollout in customer projects: Design, Implementation, Test, Operation, Maintenance, and continuous improvement of innovative BI applications for HSO's customers
  • Provide technical and professional support to HSO's customers on Power BI projects: from requirements analysis, concept and design, data modeling, to realization and report design
  • Ensure the integration of Power BI with the Azure Data World
  • Develop automated ETL processes, analytical data models, reports, and dashboards
  • Be responsible for the development or setup of a Data Warehouse
  • Create, maintain, and optimize data interfaces between existing source systems and the Data Warehouse

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data integration tools and conceptualization of ETL processes
  • Knowledge in relational and multidimensional data modeling
  • Good understanding of data analysis and their visualization with Power BI and other reporting solutions
  • Good knowledge in the SQL query language and the setup of relational databases
  • Knowledge of the Power Platform (Power-Apps, Power-Automate, DataVerse)
  • Ideally, knowledge of the Azure Modern Data Platform (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, DataBricks)
