Summary

Requirements

  • At least four (4) years of relevant data science experience
  • Advanced experience with the Python data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, keras , etc.)
  • Expert experience with SQL
  • Intermediate experience with Apache Spark or other distributed processing engines
  • Advanced experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
  • Advanced experience with statistical methods
  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Effective technical leadership abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with innovative application design and implementation
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
  • M.S./M.A. degree in a technical field; or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops comprehensive data science solutions
  • Architects and builds machine learning infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring
  • Mentors junior and mid-level Data Scientists
  • Includes testing in all aspects of the development process
  • Participates in project planning and architecture discussions
  • Leads the adoption of new data science techniques and technologies
  • Works with stakeholders to determine the desired feature set and develop stable and scalable solutions
  • Creates descriptive reports and visualizations detailing the performance of advanced analytics projects
  • Analyzes potential problems and finds solutions to pressing data issues
  • Participates in on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in a technical field
