Senior Developer Advocate

Summary

Join Samsara, the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, as we help improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations. We're seeking an experienced Developer Advocate to launch and mature our Developer Advocacy function.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in developer advocacy or in a comparable role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering engaging, well-written, and technically robust enablement content for a technical audience
• Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results
• B.S., M.S., or technical degree related to software development
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, Python, and App Development
• Strong hands-on developer who is comfortable with full-stack development

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy & long-term roadmap for Developer Advocacy
• Create high-impact 1:many content and resources for developers
• Influence the direction of our developer offerings
• Drive growth of the developer community
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
