Summary

Join CD PROJEKT RED as a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop and adapt internal tools and systems supporting Cyberpunk 2. You will maintain and improve the build system, develop and manage CI/CD systems, optimize pipelines and processes, and improve build performance. Collaborate with the development team to integrate new deployment processes and establish automation. Maintain source control and provide Perforce support. This hybrid/in-office or fully remote position is available in Boston or anywhere in the USA or Canada.

Requirements

  • Proficient in C# backend development (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, primarily .NET 8)
  • 5+ years experience in game development
  • Experience in Entity Framework, LINQ
  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Knowledge of Postgres or other RDBMS
  • Experience using source control software
  • Demonstrated commitment to taking ownership, setting goals, and driving initiatives independently
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration, supporting colleagues, and achieving shared goals
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, handle ambiguity, and excel under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and improvement of the build system (in-house technology)
  • Developing and managing CI/CD systems
  • Code compilation and integration
  • Optimizing pipelines & processes
  • Improving builds performance
  • Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes
  • Establishing and maintaining various automation processes
  • Maintaining source control branches and performing integrations with merge conflicts
  • Providing Perforce support for the team
  • Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine
  • Continuous integration concepts, centralized CI, Perforce
  • Experience in containerization Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Knowledge of Eleasticsearch/MongoDB is a plus
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, security concepts, authentication
