Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior DevOps Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote Latin America-based role requires building CI pipelines, automating releases, and supporting production launches. You will design and maintain automated solutions for infrastructure, set up monitoring systems, and lead troubleshooting. Encora values skills and does not discriminate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency in Python for developing scripts and automation tools related to network and DNS management
• Experience with Terraform for automating AWS infrastructure provisioning, as well as YAML for configuration management
• Ability to automate manual network configurations, streamline requests, and create scalable solutions
• Software Engineering, DevOps & CI/CD Practices
• Strong development background with an ability to enforce best practices in code reviews, automation design, and testing
• Excellent python deployment skills
• Experience in building scalable and maintainable code for automation tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and release software by building CI pipelines, automating releases, and supporting the production team during launches
• Designs, implements, and maintains automated solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines
• Sets up monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of infrastructure and applications. Leads troubleshooting and incident resolution to minimize downtime
