Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Recast Software as a Sr. DevOps Engineer and make a direct impact on the future of our cloud technology. You will help define and scale innovations in our highly available cloud platform, primarily focusing on our EU region and its product sets. This role prioritizes uptime and infrastructure availability while significantly influencing the direction of our EU infrastructure and its integration with our NA region. You will maintain uptime and SLAs, plan and build reusable infrastructure as code, collaborate on best practices within a global DevOps team, drive change in our processes and infrastructure management, and work with developers to refine build and release processes. Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability experience in a Azure hosted environment
• 2+ years of previous experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering
• 2+ years of CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with cloud monitoring solutions and automation

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime requirements and SLA’s for our cloud infrastructure
• Plan and build reusable Infrastructure as Code to maintain standardization and scalability efforts
• Work within a global DevOps team to develop best practices in our Azure cloud ecosystem
• Drive Change throughout our DevOps process and infrastructure management
• Work with developers to create/refine our build and release processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of coding languages, specifically .Net
• Understanding of scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)
• Infrastructure as code experience
• Azure Bicep
• Experience in containerization technology such as Kubernetes
• 2 years of SQL Database (hosted or cloud) management
• Experience with Cloud Networking (load balancing, WAF, FW, etc.)
