Senior DevOps Engineer, Remote - Poland

Summary

The job is for a DevOps Engineer to manage the private cloud environment, perform database housekeeping tasks, and administer Docker and Kubernetes environments for a high-tech Austrian company launching a GenAi application in 2024. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with enterprise-scale databases, senior-level network knowledge, proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), and expertise in automated workflow management tools, firewall management, VPN networks, and Docker/Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale databases, including structure, setup, and scalability
• Strong proficiency in C/C++/C#/.Net
• Senior-level network knowledge, including setup and maintenance of company networks
• Experience with automated workflow management tools (e.g., ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (Linux Campus Training or equivalent)
• Expertise in firewall management and VPN network configuration
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the private cloud environment and server storage
• Perform database housekeeping, including tasks such as domain splitting and certificate management
• Maintain enterprise-scale databases, structures, setup, and ensure scalability
• Handle setup and maintenance of company networks, including firewall management and VPN networks
• Implement and manage automated workflow processes using tools like ArgoCD
• Administer Docker and Kubernetes environments for continuous integration and deployment
• Provide senior-level network knowledge and support for the project
