Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Deep expertise in Azure and GCP, with multi-cloud experience considered a plus
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Splunk
- Proven ability to implement and optimize incident detection, response, and resolution
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Skilled in mentoring and leading high-performing technical teams
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the CloudOps engineering team, fostering a culture of reliability, growth, and accountability
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP to ensure high availability and scalability
- Collaborate with development, engineering, and customer success teams to align cloud operations with business goals
- Implement and refine automated monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows
- Oversee change management processes, ensuring minimal disruptions during infrastructure updates
- Drive automation initiatives across deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and operational tasks
- Ensure adherence to cloud security standards and data governance policies
- Monitor and publish key performance metrics to provide visibility into team performance and system reliability
- Continuously improve operational processes to enhance system resilience and customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are a plus
