Requirements
- 12+ years of agency or in-house creative experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Master of your craft and a track record of building brands through exceptional creative work
- Deep agency-side or brand side experience working with or at global brands
- Proven ability to define and own brand design direction for innovative, category-defining products
- Thought leader of highly successful creative, brand development, and multichannel marketing campaigns
- Portfolio packed with work that has driven outsized business results and won recognition in the industry
- Excellent people leader with proven ability to manage teams, the work, and influence outcomes with multiple stakeholders
- Strong executive presence with highly verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
- Ability to initiate and drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects that have strategic implications for the brand and company, while operating in an environment that changes quickly
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of the Underdog Brand to be recognized as the leader in the category
- Develop and maintain a world-class brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and creativity
- Develop and maintain the Underdog Brand to ensure consistency and creative excellence across all platforms
- Collaborate with marketing, design, promotion, content and product teams to ensure all design and creative elements create an optimal experience across our platforms
- Analyze audience insights to inform design direction and strategy
- Work closely with other team leads to drive creative excellence
- Work with creative management to address performance, workflow, and quality issues
- Work closely with marketing team to assess the impact of creative campaigns, leveraging data and analytics to optimize design to maximize impact
- Manage relationships with external agencies, fostering collaboration and creative excellence
