Senior DSP Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior DSP Engineer who can work remotely or at the Linthicum Heights, MD office. The main focus is on satellite modem development and porting, including signal processing components, system integration, and testing. Requirements include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, proficiency in Signal Processing Algorithms and Communications Protocols, experience in real-time critical software development in C/C++ and Assembly, excellent technical writing and communications skills, ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance, and a B.S. in Technology related field or relevant experience.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in Signal Processing Algorithms and Communications Protocols
• Experience in real-time critical software development in C/C++ and Assembly
• Excellent technical writing and communications skills
• Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance
• B.S. in Technology related field or relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Design and development of multiprocessor system on a chip (MPSoC), DSP and programmable logic-based software for satellite radio applications
• Development and optimization of signal processing components
• System integration
• Test and verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Cleared at a US Government Secret or higher level
• Experience in FPGA design using VHDL
• Experience in system development using Xilinx Zynq MPSocs
