Requirements
- Proficiency in email platforms (ie Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Adobe Campaign …), SQL for querying booking data, and Tableau for dashboarding
- Passion for exploring emerging trends in email marketing, including AI-driven personalization, predictive analytics, and new deliverability strategies
- Ability to interpret attribution models, calculate deduplication rates, and analyze cancellation/no-show trends. Strong ability to crush data—leveraging cohort analysis, segmentation techniques, and multi-touch attribution to maximize revenue impact
- Understanding of digital advertising as well as travel customer journeys (e.g., post-booking follow-ups, loyalty programs)
- Experience working with engineering teams to integrate 1st-party data (e.g., CRM lists) into email workflows
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data or business analytics role or email marketing, with at least 1 year of experience in digital advertising including hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns
Responsibilities
- Act as one of the go-to experts for email marketing across teams—work with Product team to develop the email channel for commission-based hotel campaigns, designed to optimize A/B test frameworks, and CSM/leadership to translate performance insights into business strategies
- Implement multi-ID matching strategies to resolve overlaps; analyze attribution windows (click vs. view) to quantify email’s incremental impact on bookings
- Track metrics like open rates, conversion rates, cancellations, and channel cannibalization; split performance between independent vs. chain properties
- Build Tableau/BI dashboards to visualize deduplication rates, booking timelines, and campaign incrementality for internal and client-facing reporting
- Ensure accuracy across systems ; flag discrepancies with internal data team
- Recommend improvements for email cadence, segmentation, and triggers (e.g., cart abandonment flows) based on A/B test results
- Investigate underperforming campaigns; identify issues in list hygiene, email design, or compliance (e.g., GDPR)
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; MBA or graduate degree a plus
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR) and data compliance in email targeting
- Experience with A/B test approach preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, balance multiple priorities, and work with remote offices
