Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development in complex technology environments
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, account management, product, and engineering
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with budget management and financial forecasting
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of custom software development projects and BI/reporting solutions
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Track project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to customers, and provide regular updates
- Work closely with customer-facing teams, including Implementation & Training teams to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable project plans
- Collaborate with the product team to align custom development efforts with Storable’s product roadmap and strategic goals
- Coordinate with engineering teams to provide clear requirements, direction, and support for development tasks
- Write detailed Statements of Work (SOW) that clearly outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and change requests
- Develop and present project performance reports to internal stakeholders and customers
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and ensuring profitability
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with project delivery
- Ensure that all projects are delivered within budget, and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Identify and implement best practices for project management and client engagement
- Contribute to the development and refinement of processes within the Professional Services team to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
