Senior Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Engineer in CoreWeave's Billing Team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the next-generation cloud billing system, collaborating cross-functionally, identifying bottlenecks, participating in code reviews, and working in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Have five or more years of experience in the software engineering industry
• Prior experience building reliable and scalable software services processing large amounts of data
• Experience with Prometheus/PromQL and/or solid understanding of time series data
• Proficiency in any of Python, TypeScript or Go
• Have some experience using Kubernetes with a conceptual understanding of its major components

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business operations, and accounting to determine requirements and specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain the next-generation cloud billing system
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies in billing processes
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions to ensure high-quality software development practices
