Senior Engineer

Summary

Join Very Good Ventures, a leading Flutter consultancy, as a Senior Engineer! This remote, U.S. West Coast-based role requires extensive experience in enterprise-level mobile development (iOS/Android and Flutter) and involves collaborating with our U.S. and APAC teams on innovative projects for major clients. You will define architectural decisions and implement new systems. A basic or intermediate command of Mandarin is required, along with experience in large-scale integrated systems. Requirements

• 5 years of experience or higher with mobile application development in native iOS or Android
• 2-3 years of experience with Flutter, having used Bloc, Firebase and Rest APIs
• Availability to work within the U.S. Pacific time zone
• Basic or intermediate command of the Mandarin language (certification is required, unless you are a native speaker)
• Experience working with large-scale integrated systems and applications, enterprise projects involving multiple components or microservices
• Ability to investigate new technologies
• Navigates ambiguity with ease

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the U.S.-based mobile engineering team
• Define architectural decisions
• Implement novelty systems in close collaboration and guidance of our client’s technical team in APAC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend implementations or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with "WeChat Mini Programs"
