Summary

Join Pair Team as a Senior Fullstack Engineer and play a critical role in shaping and scaling the tools that power our care delivery. You will lead end-to-end development of new product features, from initial concept through deployment and iteration. This role requires owning core product initiatives, building scalable applications, identifying platform improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and guiding architectural decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical leadership, system design skills, and a highly autonomous execution style. They are also a problem solver, demonstrate technical excellence, build cross-functional trust, and have a data-driven mindset. Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of software development experience as a high-performing individual contributor, building user-facing software at a startup
  • Experience in both backend and frontend engineering
  • Building complex web applications (required)
  • Relational Databases data modeling (required)
  • Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder

Responsibilities

  • Own core product initiatives and drive full-stack development using modern web technologies
  • Build scalable, high-performance applications that support both clinical and patient experiences
  • Identify and implement improvements across our platform to enhance speed, reliability, and usability
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and platform engineers to deliver seamless, user-centered solutions
  • Help guide architectural decisions that will support our growing team and mission-driven roadmap

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ruby on Rails (preferred)
  • React (preferred)
  • AWS services (preferred)
