Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in engineering management, leading high-performing, full-stack teams or driving growth initiatives
- Experience in building and scaling subscription platforms, including payments, pricing strategies, and customer retention flows
- A collaborative, empathetic approach to leadership, with demonstrated success in mentoring, developing, and supporting engineering teams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term technical vision with immediate business needs
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision for subscription growth and retention, focusing on signup optimization, pricing & packaging, cancellation flows, win-back strategies, and loyalty programs to maximize user acquisition and engagement
- Partner with the Tech Lead to guide the design, development, and scalability of subscription-related systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless platform integration
- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing, full-stack engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Data, and Infrastructure teams to define priorities, align strategies, and execute high-impact initiatives
- Champion best practices in code quality and automated testing, ensuring efficient and reliable product delivery
- Work closely with Platform and Infrastructure teams to enhance payments, authentication, and cross-platform subscription experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in growth engineering, including experimentation, user segmentation, and conversion optimization
