Senior Environment Artist

Summary

Join Epic Games as a Senior Environment Artist and contribute to the creation of stunning real-time worlds using Unreal Engine. Collaborate with a talented team to build large-scale, procedural environments, primarily nature-based. You will drive the development of worlds from concept to completion, ensuring high visual quality. This role requires a strong artistic eye, deep technical skills in Unreal Engine, and experience shipping at least one game using the engine. Requirements

• Highly experienced environment artist with specialization in natural environment creation
• Great artistic eye for nature
• Solid understanding of real-time world building techniques and best practices
• Deep technical skills within Unreal Engine related to real-time games
• Has experience shipping at least one game in Unreal Engine
• Ability to work remotely, autonomously, and proactively
• High level of communication skills with the ability to converse with various disciplines
• A thoughtful and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to share regular updates and seek feedback from the team

Responsibilities

• Build real-time, primarily nature-based worlds and biomes in Unreal Engine
• Drive the development, content, and construction of worlds from start to finish
• Have a high level of ownership and autonomy in the developments of worlds
• Collaborate with various supporting teams, providing guidance and feedback
• Define and set a high level of visual quality
