Senior Experience Designer

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a lead product or Sr. UX/UI design role
• Proficient in industry design software (e.g. Miro, Figma, Adobe C-Suite, Google Analytics, HotJar)

Responsibilities

• Design for humans, strategically
• Work on a wide variety of projects—from web applications and e-commerce experiences to mobile apps and more
• Anticipate user needs and deliver smart, beautiful solutions
• Tell stories, create narratives, and build brand relationships through digital experiences across the customer journey
• Deliver beautiful UI designs and apply existing design systems
• Evaluate the big picture while obsessing over the details
• Turn business requirements into user-friendly solutions
• Apply empathy and consider human behavior in design solutions
• Conduct UX research such as competitive/comparative audits, heuristic analysis, stakeholder interviews, design thinking workshops, and user testing
• Articulate solutions and design thinking to clients and team members
• Ideate across teams
• Take ownership and initiative
• Execute thoughtful user stories, information architecture, and taxonomy
• Digest analytics and turn it into improved experiences
• Work solo on an assignment or on pieces of a larger design puzzle with a team, or lead a team initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience prototyping (Principle, Figma or any other applicable tool)
• Experience working within a scrum/agile environment
• Certified data nerd with data visualization skills
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript
• Experience in E-Commerce design
• Experience in UX content writing
• Experience with user testing tools such as Optimizely
