Summary
Join Graphite, a technology-enabled growth agency, as a highly motivated Sr Finance & Accounting Analyst. This full-time, fully remote position requires a strong academic background in accounting and 5+ years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, excels in a fast-paced environment, and thrives in a collaborative setting. Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience in financial close and accounts payable processing
- Experience in USGAAP accounting
- Experience in Budgeting
- Experience with Quickbooks and Accounts Payable Software (for example: Coupa)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel, and Google Spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Effective English communication (verbal, written, and presentation) with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Works collaboratively by consulting with employees, colleagues, and clients
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities to meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support financial planning and capacity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information to ensure completeness and accuracy of data
- Generate invoices and track AR
- Review payroll and new approvals
- Process and review invoices to ensure appropriate expense approvals and payment
- Cash balance management
- Project: Integrate AI in the accounting process
