Senior Financial Analyst

Summary

Join Hudl's Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst and partner with organizational leaders on diverse projects, beyond standard monthly reporting, projections, and budget cycles. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires 2-3 days per week in the Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska offices. You'll leverage your financial modeling expertise, analytical skills, and communication abilities to drive informed decision-making and process improvements. Requirements

• Have a degree in accounting, finance or economics
• Have spent at least three years in this role or a similar one
• Have a solid background in building financial models from the ground up
• Possess an advanced skill set with Excel or Google Sheets
• Be able to work with stakeholders to form clear models from complex situations
• Be willing to learn other technical tools

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across the organization on various projects
• Perform standard cyclical deliverables like monthly reporting, projections and budget cycles
• Build financial models from the ground up
• Examine financial statements to uncover errors, identify anomalies and offer actionable recommendations
• Work with stakeholders to form clear models from complex situations
• Ask questions and think critically about how things are done
• Look for opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an MBA, CPA, CFA or other relevant certifications
• Have supported a SaaS organization and have a strong understanding of the key performance metrics that apply to this business model
