Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of prior experience, ideally in FP&A at a high-growth private equity-backed SaaS company
  • Experience using Adaptive Planning
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis and expert-level skills using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong sense of personal and professional ethics; strict adherence to guidelines surrounding sensitive information and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and personal drive; able to work independently in a remote work environment
  • Able to balance multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial board packages that include financial reporting and SaaS KPI metrics
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and develop budget vs. actuals commentary, connecting results and KPIs to provide senior leadership transparency into drivers of business performance
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards and reports for internal and external collaborators
  • Use financial and operational data to build sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and budgetary controls
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support various business initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA
  • Candidates living in Eastern or Central time zones in the United States
