Join Chainguard's Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst and collaborate closely with the FP&A Manager. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing company performance, particularly focusing on Go-to-Market (GTM) functions. This highly visible position involves partnering with organizational leaders to manage financial forecasts and analyze performance for board reporting. You will develop and maintain financial models, serve as a finance business partner, and ensure the delivery of quality analytics and reporting. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a combination of FP&A or Strategic Finance at a high-growth tech company, consulting, or Big 4 (experience partnering with GTM teams highly preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Exceptional communication skills in all forms (verbal, written, and visual) and the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, and analytics and visualization tools
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
- This role requires a self-starter, keen attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- History of building positive relationships with people and teams across a broad, diverse organization
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager on core strategic financial and planning processes at the corporate, functional, and departmental levels, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking & analysis, focusing on GTM (Go-to-Market) functions
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and business models to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
- Serve as the Finance business partner to key decision makers across the GTM organization
- Ensure the ongoing delivery of quality analytics and reporting, including headcount, ARR, revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and analysis of actual to expected performance
- Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support informed, strategic decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout finance and accounting and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the finance organization
- Support Financial Operations of the broader finance team
