Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in a financial role (FP&A experience required)

- Hands-on experience with pulling & analyzing complex data; strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast growing dynamic environment
- A passion for solving challenging and impactful problems; getting into the weeds by understanding the how and why of business processes
- A curious nature; if something seems off, take immediate actions to figure out whatβs going on
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members
- Strong communication skills including effective writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way
- Confidence to embrace new ways of doing things, including automating functions and looks for continuous improvement
- Has new ideas to bring to Wealthsimple and acts without being told what to do

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts
- Work closely with the business units and Finance teams to develop monthly, quarterly and annual expense forecasts
- Perform variance analysis on actuals to provide actionable insights to the business based on variance analysis
- Assist financial reporting team during month end close for accuracy and completeness of information
- Prepare external board materials and other deliverables
- Provide assistance on ad-hoc projects
