Join Miovision's finance team as a driven and dynamic professional passionate about data analysis and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you will own, implement, and deliver financial information and analysis to support internal stakeholders. Partner with the operational accounting team to ensure data integrity and build reports to drive financial and business execution. You will be advanced in Excel, adapt to new systems, and transform disparate data sets into meaningful insights. Ownership of financial data integrity is crucial, requiring collaboration with IS/IT to improve ERP, forecasting/budgeting applications, and financial systems. This role involves coordinating with the operations finance team, loading forecasts, preparing monthly reports, reviewing operating expenses, and analyzing headcount.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Math or Finance
- 4+ years full-time experience working with company data sets for the use of financial modeling
- Advanced level competency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of three-statement financials models and discounted cash flow analysis
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the company's industry dynamics
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Business Planning tools, or Business Intelligence tools
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the operations finance team to ensure financial data in reporting tools (Planning and Consolidation tool, Data warehouse, Excel, etc.) is complete and accurate
- Loading financial forecasts into Netsuite and other tools for monthly variance analysis
- Preparation of the monthly Flash results template
- Review operating expenses across all departments to understand run rates and variance to budget
- Work with business partners to gather, validate and analyze assumptions in the business plans and forecasts
- Monthly preparation and analysis on headcount bridges by department, actuals and forecast
- Communicate findings to finance business partners to determine corrections needed or highlight areas for cross-functional conversation
- Contribute to the production of internal and external financial reporting
- Collaborate with the Organizational Strategy team to create insightful and progressive dashboards, scalable reports and KPIs for consumption by internal stakeholders
- Support on Corporate Development Activities as directed by the Director of FP&A
- Reporting/Systems Maintenance
- Financial data steward: You are an owner of the financial data in the systems and will be relied upon to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
- Drive efficiency, effectiveness and change: Partner with IS/IT and Agile teams to drive cross-functional alignment and related system changes that will lead to increased productivity and accuracy of information, reporting and data
- Assist with the implementation of additional controls, process re-design and growth initiatives
