Summary
Join Western Digital as a Finance/Accounting professional and collaborate with HDD R&D leadership. Manage all aspects of organizational spending, including forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Drive key expense trend analysis and support R&D reporting processes. Work closely with business partners using Clarity PPM and focus on process improvement. - Systems and tools skills required: SmartView, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a trusted business partner within the HDD R&D org, including interacting with senior executives and their respective management teams
- Manage all aspects of spending for the organization, including but not limited to, expense management, quarterly/annual forecasts, variance analysis, monthly close, and management reporting
- Drive key analysis on expense trends and metrics
- Support R&D consolidation reporting process and quarterly executive package for summarizing and analyzing R&D spending
- Work closely with business partners in utilizing Clarity PPM (project budgeting tool)
- Focus on process enhancements and continuous improvement
- Support ad-hoc initiatives for R&D organization
