Senior Financial Controller

Summary

Join AlfaDocs, a company transforming the healthcare sector with innovative software, as a Senior Controller. This part-time (15-20 hours), one-year contract position offers hybrid or remote work. You will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant degree, extensive controller experience (ideally in SaaS), and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include financial model maintenance, budget planning, process documentation, and reporting. Compensation is up to €25,000 per year.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a controller, ideally in the SaaS environment or a similar industry
• Sound knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and liquidity planning
• Very good analytical skills and experience in analyzing deviations
• Experience in developing and maintaining financial models
• Confident handling of common financial software solutions (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
• Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Independent work style, high degree of initiative, and teamwork
• Experience in debt collection management and the preparation of monthly reports

Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop our financial model in the SaaS environment in direct cooperation with the management
• Create and regularly adjust annual budgets and long-term financial plans
• Maintain and optimize financial processes, including documentation and standardization
• Monitor and optimize the collection process
• Create detailed monthly financial reports for management and the board
• Identify and analyze deviations compared to the financial model and provide recommendations for action
• Regularly review the feasibility and plausibility of the financial model
• Calculate the financial "runway" (liquidity and cash flow forecast)
• Create and update the liquidity plan
• Support in the creation and updating of business cases in connection with monthly reporting and the financial model
