Summary

Join INDG β”‚ GRIP as a Senior Financial Controller and become part of a growing finance team responsible for the financial control and reporting of two operating companies. You will play a key role in building reporting fundamentals to support the company's rapid growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will work with a team to manage international financial reporting, including monthly and annual reports. This role requires hands-on involvement in implementing standard operating processes to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting and a proven ability to implement best practices in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years accounting experience
  • Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA) or local equivalent (possibly qualified by experience)
  • Strong coordination and process implementation skills (e.g. month-end close processes)
  • English fluency in speaking and writing

Responsibilities

  • Ensure P&L and balance sheet positions are fully substantiated
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions including transfer pricing across the group
  • Perform certain (correcting) accounting entries like deferred revenue and specific transactions
  • Maintain chart of accounts, closing the period
  • Prepare statements over changes in equity, dividend
  • Prepare and present the consolidated Annual Accounts
  • Liaise with external tax advisors, tax authorities
  • Be proactive in the development of relevant reporting policies and manuals
  • Implement best practices in month-end close in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment including cost allocations, (formalised) reconciliations, consolidation, elimination, P&L+B/S analyses and internal control activities
  • Configure existing accounting system to desired internal control and reporting standards in close collaboration with the supplier of the accounting software
  • Standardize Accounts Payable function including workflows aligned with VAT and Netherlands personal expense tax regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Big Four and/or US stock market listed companies
  • System configuration skills
  • Experience with driving system migrations
  • Experience with external audits from beginning till end
