Summary
Join Newsela's FP&A team as a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst and contribute to building a best-in-class analytical and operational function. You will play a key role in ensuring financial, strategic, and operational objectives are met by designing and refining financial and operating models, performing scenario analyses, and guiding strategic decisions. You will also prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting and participate in process improvement initiatives to support growth and drive efficiencies. This role offers the opportunity to participate in the build-out of a cloud FP&A system, gain significant exposure to executive leadership, and contribute to the digital transformation of the K-12 market.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment working cross-functionally and building relationships with business partners and supporting the Sales function
- You have demonstrated success in building budgets and forecasts, financial modeling, and have a keen understanding of financial close and forecasting processes
- You possess an understanding of Sales and Marketing organizations, and can support the management of that business with proactive recommendations and insights toward long and short-term targets
- Youβre competent in working with large data sets and BI reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.), experienced in using sales and financial systems (Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, etc.), and have advanced skills in Excel
- You have excellent communication and time management skills, and strength in accuracy and attention to detail
