Summary

Join Calendly's Engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and contribute to the development of powerful APIs and integrations within the Calendly ecosystem. You will work on all aspects of development, from design and delivery to maintenance, building and expanding a service-based ecosystem. This role requires 7+ years of software development experience in a SaaS environment, expertise in REST APIs and SOA, and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements

  • 7+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company
  • Experience building REST APIs
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify root causes and implement effective mitigations and resolutions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and propose new solutions or improvements that align with organizational goals
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs
  • A drive to craft clean, reliable and maintainable code
  • Deep understanding of the needs of a growing developer community and the tools developers need to successfully build solutions integrated with Calendly
  • Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for strong foundations in technical architecture while maintaining high velocity
  • Work end-to-end to deliver features - from discovery, product design, technical design, coding, testing, shipping, and iteration based on collaborator feedback
  • Review tech specs and pull requests from other specialists
  • Improve our engineering systems and processes; we operate an agile process with sprints and iterate continuously
  • Mentor and coach other team members

Experience building public APIs and engaging directly with the developer community
