Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Kalepa is a software startup reimagining the trillion-dollar commercial insurance industry. They are looking for smart programmers with 5+ years of experience to work on their client-facing application written in React + Redux and backend services created in Python + pSQL. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Excellent development skills including design, debugging and problem solving
• Enjoy building front end components including end to end design/architecture
• Have experience in a modern FE framework – Preferably React/Redux
• Have experience in backend development and API Design
• Possess a bachelors or master's degree in computer science or a related field

Responsibilities

Work on our client-facing application written in React + Redux as well as backend services created in Python + pSQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS as we work with serverless technologies and asynchronous workflow
• Have worked with relational databases with a preference for PostgreSQL
• Experience with some of the following tools: Docker, Git, GitHub, Flask, NumPy,Pandas
