Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, Remote - Spain

Summary

Matillion is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves writing, testing, and releasing new features, collaborating with the broader team, participating in research projects, and developing technical skills. The job requires proficiency in React, Java, coding in JavaScript, experience in full software development life cycle, some experience with AWS, and professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

• Be a full stack focused software engineer with experience in React and Java
• Proficient in coding in JavaScript, with a good understanding of programming concepts and best practices
• Experience in full software development life cycle from design to deployment via CI/CD tooling, using agile methodologies (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
• Some experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS
• Demonstrable experience working in a cross-functional team to solve business goals, whilst adapting to different types of technical challenges

Responsibilities

• Write code, unit test, release new features, and provide ongoing maintenance and support for Matillion products
• Collaborate with the broader team to understand and deliver work that contributes to the teams’ goals
• Participate in code reviews and research projects, exploring future opportunities and new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Professional proficiency in English and Spanish language
