Senior FullStack Engineer

Summary

Join Grafana Labs' Frontend Platform Squad as a remote full-stack engineer working from a Canadian Eastern timezone. You will design, build, and maintain critical systems, focusing on reliability and performance. Responsibilities include delivering new features, driving projects from ideation to operation, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate possesses solid full-stack experience (React & GoLang preferred), cloud experience, and a self-driven approach to project delivery. Grafana Labs values autonomy, collaboration, and a commitment to user experience. Compensation includes a competitive salary (CAD 146,409 - CAD 175,691 base range in Canada) and benefits, including equity and bonuses.

Requirements

• Have a solid experience with building full stack applications (ideally using React & GoLang) using best practices, documentation and testing
• Have experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product in a self-driven way
• Have experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or some experience with systems engineering
• Be comfortable working in a remote-first company and understand the importance of communication
• Value autonomy and enabling decisions over committees and red tape
• Know how to transform ideas into working code . be able to design a solution, get feedback, and write a prototype by yourself
• Care deeply about user experience and the quality of the products that you work on

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability
• Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve
• Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers
• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives
• Mentor and support other team members, participate in product discussions and collaborate with the team
