Senior Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join Samsara's New Product team as a Full-Stack Software Engineer and design, develop, and deliver a new product across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with various teams, continuously improve product performance, propose technical solutions, and mentor other engineers. This remote position, open to US candidates (excluding specific metro areas), offers the opportunity to impact global industries and contribute to a rapidly growing company. Experience with AWS and React Native is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
• Strong programming/coding fundamentals with proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers from various teams to architect, build, test, and deliver a new product across front-end, back-end, and mobile
• Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of our new product
• Propose technical solutions and spearhead technical solutioning on some of the team’s initiatives
• Help mentor, develop, and support other engineers on the team
• Maintain a regular feedback loop to allow for implementation iterations and making adjustments
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
