Senior Game Designer

Summary

Join Voodoo, a leading mobile game publisher, as a Senior Game Designer and contribute to the creation of innovative brain training apps. Based in Paris or fully remote (within a +/- 2h time difference from Paris), you will work with a small, agile team of top performers. You will lead the creative development of a new brain training project, designing and balancing core game systems, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with engineering and art teams. This role requires proven experience in game design, player engagement, and team leadership, along with skills in prototyping, scripting, and game math. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Game Designer, working on casual F2P mobile games
• Track record of working with games that achieve long-term player engagement and retention
• Demonstrated experience in defining and building games with sustained engagement and monetization
• Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve design excellence and deliver engaging player experiences
• Mastering of Figma or another prototyping tool
• Basic understanding of scripting and programming
• Basic knowledge of Unity and big game architecture
• Strong grasp of game math, including probability, statistics, and economy modeling
• Strong project management skills to push features forward
• Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Clear and concise
• Entrepreneurial mindset essential
• Deep passion for mobile games

Responsibilities

• Design and balance core game systems and levels, writing detailed specifications
• Build and optimize project management workflows to foster efficient game design in a startup environment
• Collaborate with Engineering and Art teams to ensure cohesive development and seamless integration
• Drive player-centric design through data analysis and market research to deliver compelling experiences
