Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Game Operations Associate to manage our sports platform operations, develop trading strategies, and ensure effective risk management. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field, at least 3 years of experience as a sports trader, strong analytical skills, knowledge of sports betting markets, familiarity with sports data and analytics tools, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to work outside of regular business hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a sports trader, with a proven track record of success in managing sportsbook operations and developing effective trading strategies
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly
• Knowledge of sports betting markets and trends, with a deep understanding of betting lines, odds, and pricing models
• Familiarity with sports data and analytics tools, such as sports data feeds and statistical models
• Experience with risk management techniques and tools, such as exposure limits, hedging, and diversification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and manage junior traders

Responsibilities

• Manage our live game operations, including setting markets, monitoring events and positions, and managing liabilities
• Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk
• Analyze market trends and adjust odds accordingly to maintain competitiveness and profitability
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that our sportsbook offerings are aligned with customer demand and industry trends
• Work closely with the risk management team to monitor and manage exposure and risk limits
• Monitor and analyze sports performance, including win/loss ratios, and provide regular reports to management
• Manage and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to ensure that our game operations are aligned with best practices and compliance requirements
