Senior Global Trainer

Summary

Join PROCEPT BioRobotics as a Senior Global Trainer and lead the design, delivery, and evolution of comprehensive educational programs for our global product lines. Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to create innovative training tools that drive adoption and professional growth. You will execute training programs, lead webinars and live sessions, manage course logistics, and maintain all course documentation. This role requires strong educational background, experience in training and clinical education, and excellent communication and presentation skills. The position offers a hybrid work environment with travel and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline such as nursing, physician assistant, or pharmacy is strongly preferred; advanced degree also preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, M.A.Ed .)
• 5+ years of experience in the training and/or clinical education; such experience can include a combination of clinical (nursing, pharmacy, etc.), business, and/or clinical education
• Ability to maintain a high level of communication
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Must be a team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and effectively adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of regulations, guidelines, and codes
• Organizational skills and the ability to execute within timelines
• Experience developing curriculum and delivering science-based training
• Expected to travel up to 50% of the time (to support the ACADEMY, sign offs, and surgeon education programs, times may flex)
• Hybrid position: Required to support live training programs in San Jose, CA and other global locations
• Must be able to travel to attend and support meetings events as required

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the overall global learning and development strategy for sales training and surgeon education
• Lead the execution of the training programs (such as the ACADEMY) and surgeon education programs to ensure programs operate efficiently, effectively and compliantly
• Serve as a subject matter expert and effectively disseminate/knowledge transfer to the sales force and surgeons to meet corporate requirements
• Lead webinars and live training sessions
• Coordinate logistics of training courses
• Conduct field learning and development sign offs, recertifications, and surgeon trainings
• Maintain all course documentation, training plans, and initiate training profiles for global sales representatives and surgeon education
• Maintain new product introduction training courses and update existing product training course as necessary
• Manage existing customer face-to-face and online educational programs and symposia, cadaver labs, proctorships and, as applicable, support grand rounds and physician journal club lectures
• Present scientific data (written and verbal) to support PROCEPT BioRobotics’ learning strategy
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to execute an effective sales training and professional education programs
• Work to ensure presentations are consistent with PROCEPT BioRobotics’ goals and objectives and in compliance with PROCEPT BioRobotics’ indications for use
• Utilize sound knowledge of the functionalities and structures of the Learning Management System (LMS). Maintaining and expanding content within LMS systems training content. Monitors and updates training records based on requirements and progress. Ensures accurate record registration and completion of learning activities
• Understand and apply market, industry, competitor, and health care compliance, legal, and regulatory knowledge
• Support the planning and execution of training events
• Adhere to Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards (Bloodborne pathogens training, etc.)
• Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
• Understand and adhere to PROCEPT BioRobotics policies
