Summary

Join Axonius as a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer and design, develop, and maintain high-quality technical training courses and hands-on labs for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will be responsible for ensuring training content effectively supports learners in mastering Axonius' cybersecurity asset management and SaaS security solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, instructional design experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders. You will contribute to both self-paced and instructor-led training by developing courseware, hands-on labs, and automation scripts. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and support instructor enablement efforts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical training, curriculum development, or instructional design
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, digestible training content
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of how Internet protocols work (HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, SMB, FTP, Telnet, LDAP/LDAPS, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of data formats and structures (JSON, CSV, SQL/NoSQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of networking topology, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.), endpoint security technologies (AV, EDR, malware detection, etc.), cloud security principles, and vulnerability management
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager)

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Axonius’ product suite, staying updated on new features and releases, and translating this knowledge into engaging learning experiences
  • Design and develop technical courseware, hands-on labs, and training materials in collaboration with SMEs and instructional designers
  • Create and maintain self-paced e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) content, including slide decks, lab guides, and automation scripts
  • Develop and support hands-on labs leveraging automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cybersecurity best practices
  • Deliver occasional instructor-led training sessions for internal teams and technical trainers
  • Support instructor enablement through the development of instructor guides, train-the-trainer sessions, and course updates
  • Continuously improve existing training content based on learner feedback, product updates, and instructional best practices
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming/scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and threat detection
  • Industry certifications (AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, etc.)
