Senior Golang Developer

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Golang Developer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote position, based in Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, or Bolivia, requires extensive software development experience with a focus on scalable applications and proficiency in Golang. You will work with various teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient software applications. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Proficient in Golang
• Understanding of advanced concepts of Golang
• Knowledge of different go frameworks like gofibre, gorilla etc
• Experience of REST API development
• Familiarity with docker
• Strong experience of MSSQL
• Basic cloud exposure to like azure, AWS
• Full SDLC cycle with large scale live roll out participation as a developer

Responsibilities

• Understand customer/product requirements and convert them to working code
• Participate in daily scrum calls, assign and review work products & deliverables, and independently work on tasks and deliverables
• Analyze JIRA tickets, perform RCA, and fix issues as per SLAs
• Work closely with BAs, Technical architects, onsite/offshore counterparts to deliver on customer needs/enhancements

• Competencies: Understanding Architecture and Frameworks
• Debugging and troubleshooting
• Good to have Financial/ Lending platform knowledge
