Requirements
- Mastery of Google Ads, with a focus on YouTube ad formats and strategies
- Proficiency in audience segmentation, direct response techniques, and video advertising
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and UTM tracking
- Demonstrated success in managing high-budget, multi-account campaigns with measurable results
- Proven ability to scale campaigns profitably while achieving KPI targets
- Experience working with creative teams to produce high-converting ad assets
- Ability to offer actionable creative direction informed by performance data
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptable and innovative in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Experience: 3+ years managing Google Ads campaigns, with a focus on YouTube and budgets of $100,000+
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account managers and strategists to understand client goals, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop customized strategies for: Direct response campaigns, Retargeting campaigns, Prospecting campaigns, Video action campaigns, Brand awareness campaigns
- Allocate and optimize budgets across campaigns, targeting, and creative assets to maximize performance
- Set up, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns with a primary focus on YouTube
- Use advanced targeting and bidding strategies to achieve client KPIs
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, ad formats, and CTAs to refine campaign effectiveness
- Track and analyze key metrics such as CPV, CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS, implementing data-driven improvements
- Scale campaigns effectively, maintaining profitability and aligning with objectives
- Dedicate 10% of budgets to testing new approaches, ad formats, and audience strategies
- Experiment with: Emerging ad formats (e.g., YouTube Shorts and non-skippable ads), Creative messaging angles and hooks, Advanced audience targeting methods
- Evaluate test outcomes and integrate successful strategies into active campaigns
- Partner with video producers and creative teams to develop high-performing ad assets
- Provide comprehensive creative briefs with actionable insights
- Review and analyze video performance, offering feedback to enhance content effectiveness
- Create and present detailed reports on campaign performance, trends, and actionable recommendations
- Conduct post-campaign analyses to measure success and refine strategies
- Share updates with internal teams and clients, highlighting opportunities for optimization
- Oversee and strategically manage monthly ad spends exceeding $100,000 per account
- Ensure alignment of testing budgets with overall campaign goals
- Forecast spending needs based on performance data and industry trends
- Act as the key liaison between account managers, analytics teams, and creative departments
- Provide regular updates on campaign progress, challenges, and optimizations
- Partner with clients to align on strategies, deliverables, and performance insights
- Stay up-to-date with Google Ads and YouTube platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging tools
- Explore new technologies and ad formats to maintain a competitive edge
- Pursue relevant certifications and training to sharpen skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- Google Ads Video Certification, Google Search Certification, and Google Analytics 4 Certification
