Summary
Join Precision for Medicine as a Senior Graphic Designer to create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, social media content, and more. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in graphic design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development or related major
- At least 3 years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)
- At least 3 years experience leading projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing print and digital marketing materials
- Able to produce designs incorporating motion graphics
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with copywriters, marketers, and developers to bring creative concepts to life
- Full understanding of color theory, typography, and visual communication principles—such as logo design best practices, layout creation, and design for print and web
- Knowledge of infographic design and basic data visualization
- Advanced proficiency of Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office (notably PowerPoint)
- Advanced proficiency of pre-press production
- Proficiency in Mac OS
- Proficiency in motion graphics
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadline-sensitive projects
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate ideas and write clear and concise reports
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Projects: Oversee and manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate with Marketing Team and Creative Director: Work closely with the marketing team and Creative Director to develop creative strategies and design solutions that align with business objectives
- Create Visual Content: Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, digital ads, presentation decks, motion graphics video, infographics, scientific posters, presentations, whitepapers, social media content, trade show materials, and social media graphics
- Brand Consistency:. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual identity across global teams and communication channels
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand industry design trends and incorporate findings into design strategies
- Key Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate with internal clients to understand their needs and present design concepts effectively
- Production Ready Design: Prepare finished layout for printer; preflight disks and prepares final artwork for output
- Project Management: Lead design projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Work with a marketing operations lead to ensure proper prioritization of projects, deliver dates are met and final files/assets uploaded to the proper channels
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: On key projects, partner with medical writers, scientists, marketers, and regulatory teams to ensure designs accurately reflect scientific integrity and adhere to industry standards
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance
- Continuously improve technical skills and stay up to date with emerging technologies
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with terminology across drug development, diagnostics, genomics, or clinical research a plus
