Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of technical and content optimization
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog)
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
- Experience with paid advertising platforms like Google Ads or social media ads
- Knowledge of app store optimization (ASO) strategies
Responsibilities
- Identify high-value keywords and phrases that align with our content and audience
- Analyze search intent and trends to guide strategy
- Optimize website content and HTML elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) for better search engine visibility
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, fast, and mobile-responsive
- Build and maintain high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites
- Develop strategies to enhance the websiteβs domain authority and trustworthiness
- Collaborate with content creators to produce keyword-rich, engaging, and shareable content
- Guide the team on best practices for SEO-friendly writing and formatting
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve technical issues (e.g., broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content)
- Optimize website structure, schema markup, and ensure compliance with search engine guidelines
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data
- Oversee optimization strategies for browser extensions and app store listings
- Continuously refine ASO efforts to drive discoverability and downloads
- Test new acquisition channels (affiliate, influencer, and more)
- Drive growth through paid testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting and implementation
- A background in content marketing or copywriting
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Experience at a growth or SEO agency
