Join Felix, Canadaβs leading end-to-end platform for on-demand healthcare, as a Senior IT Manager! Oversee technology operations, managing on-prem pharmacy software systems, company-wide software tools, IT budgeting, and asset lifecycle management. Support two physical pharmacy locations and ensure reliable operation of over 100 software tools. This remote-first role (GTA preferred) requires expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, security, and budget management. You will lead small-scale IT projects, provide technical support, and collaborate with vendors. Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, ideally in a technology company
- Experience managing a diverse set of software tools and systems
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security
- Budget management and forecasting experience
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and locations
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day IT operations across our two pharmacy locations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Manage and maintain the Kroll by Telus pharmacy management software, including troubleshooting, user support, updates, and integration with other systems
- Administer and support a portfolio of over 100 software tools used across the Felix organization, ensuring compliance, licensing, and efficient usage
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for software procurement, maintenance, and support
- Develop and manage IT budgets, including expense tracking, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, and system reliability
- Lead small-scale IT projects including software rollouts, upgrades, and migrations
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
- Monitor and report on IT performance metrics and continuously seek improvement opportunities
- Install, configure, maintain physical Windows servers and Pharmacy terminals
- Windows SQL Server 2019
- Maintain replication between sites (pharmacy, aws)
- Configure & maintain software-defined (Meraki) routers, switches, firewall appliances, vpn connectivity
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL), networking, or relevant software platforms
- Working knowledge of Kroll by Telus Pharmacy Management Software
