Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior IT operations role, with a track record of improving IT infrastructure and end-user support
• Expert knowledge of macOS environments, SaaS platform administration, and security compliance
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team through complex projects and challenges
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of strategic thinking and innovation
• Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, setting high standards in system administration, particularly for SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Okta, and in endpoint management for macOS
• Mentor junior team members, sharing your deep knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
• Drive initiatives that enhance our IT infrastructure, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure
• Act as a key decision-maker in the selection and implementation of IT tools and practices that align with Remote's long-term vision
• Strategize and implement advanced IT solutions to enhance end-user support and system management
• Lead projects to improve our SaaS estate, ensuring efficient, secure, and compliant operations
• Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge and guiding them in their professional development and project work
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with broader company objectives
