Requirements

  • Requires demonstrable experience managing IT projects

  • Consistently deliver complex projects successfully
  • 5-7 years of project management experience preferably in IT
  • Candidates must be US Citizens as this work entails working with State and Local Government Agencies
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to correspond efficiently and effectively. This includes both verbal and written communications. Particular emphasis is put upon the ability to produce well written technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Own a critical piece of the customer experience and support the logistics to execute multiple technical projects concurrently and our support operations
  • Partner with other members of our team to deliver cutting-edge solutions that solve business challenges for our customers
  • Work with a variety of different customers each day making sure communications are flowing and expectations are understood
  • Master our project management processes and tools to provide a consistent experience, deliver projects on-time, and within budget
  • Identify opportunities to improve the speed, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience of those processes
  • Provide top-notch service on projects from start to finish, including creating budgets to implementing timelines, aligning stakeholders, testing ideas, executing, and measuring results

  • Responsible for successful service delivery and contract execution for an Office 365 implementation (email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint online migrations), Modern Endpoint Management and Organizational Change Management, Security and Compliance (AIP, DLP, MCAS) SOWs for various customers
  • Leading a diverse IT project team comprised of engineers with expertise in different subject matter areas, architects, cloud strategists, and project managers from initiation to production implementation, tracking project details to ensure expected results are achieved
  • Creating, managing, and controlling project schedules and all required activities to ensure alignment with multiple schedules and requirements across all workstreams
  • Performing project risk management
  • Develop project documentation such as Project Plan, implementation plans with milestones, weekly status reports, agendas, and meeting minutes paying attention to detail
  • Maintain and manage Program Level budgets for various workstreams and across multiple SOWs for a single customer
  • Regularly meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements to discuss ongoing work, discuss opportunities and address any challenges
  • Prepare and present information related to project progress, vision, roadmap, status reports, and other topics to senior levels of leadership, taking into account the listeners and nature of the information being presented
  • Review customer invoices and assist the accounting department as needed with related questions
  • Proactively provide assistance and support team members
  • Proactively respond to internal and external communities
  • Proactively identify and refer sales opportunities within areas of expertise
  • Proactively help customers make basic decisions around features and capabilities
  • Ability to proactively collaborate across internal and customer teams
  • Ability to lead technical teams on more complex projects
  • Provide leadership within practice area
  • Proactively provide process improvement or standardization
  • Ability to efficiently solve problems and support others in more complex environments
  • Understands and effectively utilizes internal and external resources to assist in problem solving process
  • Proactively assist setting expectations and managing to scope
  • Ability to quickly build effective relationships for project success

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies strongly preferred
  • Professional Project Management Certification preferred
  • Mountain or Pacific Time Zone
  • Travel: 0 - 25%
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
