Summary
Join World Insurance Associates as a Senior IT Systems Administrator and support our on-prem and cloud infrastructure, O365 environment, security, and configuration functions. You will participate in designing, planning, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires a high level of skill in design, development, analysis, and technical expertise. You will manage various systems and provide tier 3 support, spearhead production systems, and maintain Azure cloud servers. The position involves approximately 10% travel. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience supporting large cloud, SaaS, and/or on-premise infrastructures required
- 5+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer required
- 5+ years of experience with Azure or Azure Solutions required
- 5+ years of experience with 0365, Defender, and Intune management and support required
- 5+ Years of experience supporting infrastructure operations (i.e. Onboarding, offboarding, patching, network resilience)
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, leading and participating in a team environment
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment concurrently on multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Energetic, enthusiastic, detailed orientated and organized
- Comfortable/encouraging in constructive debate and discussion

Responsibilities
- Manage O365 environment, Exchange, Endpoint Management, Intune, Patching, SFTP, Vulnerability, Network, and Zoom telephony standards and practices
- Provide Tier 3 support for company-wide infrastructure systems and services. Including but not limited to Windows Servers, WAF Analytics tools, Azure AD/Entra ID, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto FWs, and Zoom telephony solutions
- Spearhead production systems including backups, performance tuning, fault resolution, capacity planning and root-cause analysis across multiple sites, platforms & operating systems
- Participate in after-hours maintenance activities
- Provision and maintain Azure cloud servers, Virtual Machines, and SQL Databases
- Conduct routine database server audits to monitor compliance
- Troubleshoot VM and server service incidents or outages
- Perform Outlook email discovery searches and O365 user account activity reports
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar technical field preferred
